Amidst a storied career, a highlight for Lauren Woolstencroft was her eight World Championship wins. Lauren competed in three World Championships and set a sky-high standard to beat. In 2000, in Anzère, Switzerland, Lauren won gold in the downhill, giant slalom, and slalom, and followed it up in 2004 with gold in the super-G in Wildschöneau, Austria. In 2009, Lauren was unbeatable, winning the gold in the downhill, super-G, giant slalom, and slalom and setting the tone for her sweeping success at the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games the following year.
